I was expecting a bigger unit and speakers but am very pleased with the quality of the sound. The remote is very tiny and is very basic.

We bought this for our son in college. He says the sound is great and the smaller size works well in his dorm. Only he wishes the remote had an on/off button.

Purchased this for an economical CD player/stereo. Great sound coming out of this little unit, reception for stereo is good too, antenna works great to pick up many stations. Shipped well, packaging and easy assemble. Only drawback, even with the 'dimmer' light activated, the strength of brightness is still quite bright. Also, the remote only controls play/replay/stop on CD, no volume control or on or off for power by the remote. Still a great buy for the quality of sound. Have not turned it up all the way, half way is plenty for the room it is in- a quarter turn for volume is great for background music. Use this for work and recreation. Awesome sound when base enhancing button is pressed!
